| Biography |
Clare Jones is currently working as a community paediatric dietitian in the Liverpool area. She has been a dietitian for over 21 years and most that time has been specialising in paediatrics. She has worked both in acute and community settings across the northwest area. She is currently the team lead for the community service who provide a wide variety of dietetic care including complex care tube feeding, allergy and faltering growth as well as a wide range of other dietary related issues. She is also involved in the infant feeding pilot set up in the city, working closely with her consultant and infant feeding specialist colleagues developing a pathway and service for patients and their families and education to health professionals. On a more personal note Clare has experienced first-hand the challenges and patient journey that a lot encounter as a family regarding food allergies.
