| Biography |
Garrett is an experienced General Practitioner with a demonstrated history of treating addictive disorders. Skilled in Alcohol, drug and process addiction rehab, Family Therapy, and Case Management. He has a particular interest in Drug Policy. He holds a a Medical Degree from TCD, a Masters Degree in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addiction from King’s College London and is a Diplomate of the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM). He has worked in the HSE Addiction Services as a GP specialising in Addiction Medicine since 1998 and is founder and Medical Director of the Priority Medical Clinic in Dundrum, a private outpatient addiction treatment clinic. In January 2022 he was appointed as Clinical Lead in the HSE Addiction Services for Louth Meath & The Midlands.
