GP partner and trainer in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. Since 2016 Kieran has developed an interest in chronic pain management and for the last year as GP Advisor in the Scottish Government’s Modernising Patient Pathways Programme. The MPPP’s goal is to improve patient journeys by delivering sustainable changes to support safe, effective and person centred care. Kieran’s goal is to make pain management easier for busy GPs. Current activities include supporting test of change projects, developing a realistic pain management consultation model and sharing supported self management resources. Also currently collating deprescribing advice based on conversations with Scotland’s highest deprescribing GP practices.
