Dr Maryanne Freer is a practising psychiatrist in Northumberland, a general practice clinical academic leading a part of the medical degree in primary care at Newcastle University, as well as being the CWMT GP Educator. She has held a lectureship in primary care since 1996 and has worked in post graduate GP education in mental health since 1999 having worked at national & regional NIMHE and local PCT and GP practice level. Dr Freer works closely with the Royal College of General Practice , GP Deaneries and VTS schemes UK wide as well as with CCG¹s and GP practice teams
