| Biography |
Dr Munot is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and is the
Lead for International Medical Graduates. She has vast research experience in congenital disorders
including spinal muscular atrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. She has also acted as a
principal investigator for several international clinical trials.
Dr Munot regularly teaches courses on paediatric neuromuscular disorders to paediatric neurology
consultants, trainees, specialist nurses, registrars, and postgraduate students.
Dr Munot obtained her medical degree from the University of Mumbai in 2004, after which she qualified
as a Paediatric Neurologist in 2011 from The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has
attained a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education from the University of Dundee in 2010.
