After originally qualifying as a GP in 2003, Richard subsequently developed a portfolio GP career in MSK and Sport & Exercise Medicine, eventually obtaining specialist registration. He currently works as a Defence Medical Consultant within the Regional Rehab Unit at RAF Halton alongside being the CMO for Badminton England in Milton Keynes. Alongside his clinical work, he also co-developed a Diploma exam in MSK Medicine offered by the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine, as well as creating a distance PGCert course in MSK Medicine run by the University of Leeds, both aimed at helping GPs to develop an extended role in MSK Medicine. @sportdocbedford
