| Biography |
Samira currently works as a GP in Manchester and has had a varied career covering tertiary/secondary care, general practice, research, commissioning, health policy and medico-politics.
She is currently undertaking an NIHR in practice fellowship at the University of Manchester and has had a longstanding interest in health policy development and implementation at national and local levels.
A particular focus has been on healthcare workforce, training, and education, and she has held several national and local leadership roles including contributions to national taskforce publications.
Locally she has worked as the CCG Neighbourhood clinical lead in the roll out of place-based care and has recently started an HEE Topol Digital fellowship looking at place-based workforce planning and data collection. @Sammyyrra
