| Biography |
After qualifying as a GP in 2001, Tim gained additional expertise in persistent pain management, at the Northern General Hospital Pain Clinic, where he remained as a clinical assistant for over 5 years. He went on to work in a community-based pain service in Sheffield until 2010.
Alongside his clinical work, Tim has trained in NLP and Coaching and more recently Coach Supervision. In 2017 he formed an education and training company (Peak Health Coaching) with a fellow GP, which has focused on providing PCI-accredited training in personalised care, including health-coaching, for health, social and community care professionals.
His presentation will focus on how to approach any persistent pain-related consultation with ease, prescribe appropriately (if at all) and promote self-management.
