Author

Mr Richard Welbourn is a consultant surgeon in Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset, and chair of the National Bariatric Surgery Registry committee. He is also surgical lead in the By-Band-Sleeve RCT, and was a member of the development group for the NICE obesity guidance CG189.
