Dr Aashish Vyas, has been consultant Respiratory Physician since 2003. Within the NHS he is lead of NHSE commissioned regional severe asthma and complex breathlessness Unit for Lancashire and South Cumbria, as well as leading NHSE Regional Long term mechanical ventilation and complex wean services for Lancashire and South Cumbria. His primary interests are asthma, complex or undiagnosed breathlessness and supporting patients on home mechanical ventilation. He looks after patients with a multitude of chest conditions in his NHS work including COPD, chronic Cough, respiratory recovery from infections
