Dr. Biswajit Chakrabarti (MD FRCP) is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his undergraduate training at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London in 1998 prior to undertaking Specialty training in Respiratory Medicine. This included a Research fellowship in the field of COPD and Ventilation under Professor Peter Calverley followed by a period as a Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine where he completed an MD in the field of Non Invasive Ventilation for COPD. His specialist interests include COPD, Sleep Medicine, Non Invasive Ventilation and Pneumonia.
