| Biography |
Chris grew up in Bradford, before going to medical school in London. He has worked in Primary Care with people experiencing homelessness since 1998 when he launched a GP surgery in Brighton and Hove aimed at meeting the needs of this population. The surgery has grown to become ARCH Healthcare a Community Interest Company of which he is a GP director. The service now includes an outreach service, in-reach to the local hospital on the Pathway model, stepdown beds in a local hostel for people discharged from hospital, and a service user project called Common Ambition. Chris is Medical Director of Pathway, the homelessness and health charity which aims to improve outcomes for patients who are homeless in hospital by providing additional support and specialist discharge input. @drcsargeant
