| Biography |
Dr Christos Kasparis is a Consultant Dermatologist working both in the NHS and private sector and has a particular passion for inflammatory skin disease. He is currently working as a Consultant for the Wolverhampton Community Dermatology service and is one of the core members of the biologics multidisciplinary team. In the last few years he has been involved in delivering teledermatology and remote image assessment services and has developed further interest in dermoscopy and its applications in both lesion diagnosis and inflammatory dermatoses. He is a member of the International Dermoscopy Society.
Christos completed his medical training at Manchester University in 2004, followed by training in general medicine until 2009. He subsequently completed successfully the West Midlands deanery dermatology training programme and obtained his CCT in Dermatology in 2013.He has given numerous presentations in scientific meetings across the UK and abroad and authored published work in medical journals and textbooks. He has been involved in training junior doctors and Dermatology registrars in his role as educational supervisor for the West Midlands deanery as well as being a faculty member in minor surgery courses.
