Trained in Paediatrics and Child Health in UK and Canada(accredited in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine North America) Previously Senior Medical Officer For Child Health, Highlands of Papua New Guinea, Research Fellow University of British Columbia and Childrens Hospital, Vancouver. Consultant Paediatrician since 1992. Past President, Scottish Paediatric Society.

Main interests are General Paediatrics, Respiratory and Allergy. Clinical Lead for North of Scotland Unscheduled Care Pilot(using telemedicine for unwell children in remote/rural locations). Research areas – genetics of asthma/allergy, Telemedicine.
