Liz Martin-the original Doc Martin!- has worked as a GPWSI in Diabetes with the Leeds Community Diabetes Team since 2009.
She has recently retired from MDT Diabetes Foot Clinic at St James Teaching Hospital, Leeds to ease into retirement gracefully.
The drugs used in Diabetes have revolutionised the standard of care provided to patients and her passion for teaching continues as she is involved in training members of the Primary Care Team- GPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists- any one who is interested! to make the best use of these incredible drugs. GPs are not just diabetologists but cardiologists and renal doctors too!
