| Biography |
Emily’s career to date includes working as a GP in the Army, the RAF and the NHS, as well as leading a specialist team for UKHSA during the Covid pandemic.
Her experience includes working with the Infantry in the UK and overseas including in Cyprus, Germany, Malawi, Kenya, Belize and Afghanistan.
Emily gained an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine and undertook research with the Institute of Naval Medicine into Muskoskeletal injuries in Infantry soldiers. She also worked with soldiers with severe life-threatening injuries and mental health problems, included those relating to operational deployment.
Emily also worked as a GP trainer and appraiser and established a Ministry of Defence support network in conjunction with the Royal College of GPs.
