Kamal Bishai qualified in both Ophthalmology and General Practice. He had been involved in the development of Ophthalmology guidelines for both NICE and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. As GP he served on the Board of Epping Forest PCT and then West Essex CCG. He currently provides primary care Ophthalmology to a West Essex GP provider company.
