| Biography |
General Practitioner with Special Interest in Cardiology, been in General Practice for over 32 years.
He is a G.P Educator, previously an appraiser.
He has interest in G.P education and development of primary care services in the community and primary care/Secondary care interface.
He started a community- based cardiac service for Milton Keynes in 2004, providing one stop diagnostic clinic for assessment of palpitations, heart failure, murmurs and hypertension.
Started using Point of care testing for heart failure & VTE in the Community in 2008, Developed a Hub & Spoke Model to cover the Whole of Milton Keynes.
Started a post for training GP Registrars in Community Cardio-Respiratory Medicine in 2016. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Accredited Member of the British Society of Echocardiography . He is a Patron & strong supporter to Milton Keynes Community Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Group. @hilmyn
