Dr Burnie has been a general practitioner in Kingston upon Thames since 2005. She originally studied medicine in Australia at the University of Queensland.
She has a special interest in Dementia. She obtained a postgraduate certificate in Dementia Studies for Practitioners with a Special Interest from the University of Bradford in 2015. She runs a Primary Care Dementia clinic in Kingston, a follow up and review service for people in Kingston who have been diagnosed with dementia. She works with the London Dementia Clinical Network as GP lead. She has clinical lead role in her local ICB in Frailty and Personalisation
Dr Burnie works as a salaried GP and GP trainer in a training practice in Kingston. @dr_burnie
