| Biography |
Dr Isibor is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Obesity and weight management. Currently, working in multiple GP practices across Kent. She completed her medical degree at the University of Leicester Medical school and doctor training in the East Midlands region of England. In March 2020, she was awarded a Distinction after completing a postgraduate diploma in obesity and weight Management. She is also a certified lifestyle medicine physician and sits on the board of the Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO). Dr Isibor is keen on using evidence-based medicine in supporting individuals and communities in making healthier lifestyle choices. As an advocate for change she believes in implementing culturally appropriate strategies to improve access to health care for marginalized groups. This has been reflected in her active participation in the NHS England national and local campaign for obesity and type 2 diabetes awareness targeted at African and Caribbean communities. @healthactiveGB
