Shema Tariq

Dr Shema Tariq is a Clinical Academic at UCL’s Institute for Global Health.  Her main research interest is the post-reproductive health of women living with HIV; she is the Chief Investigator of the PRIME Study, one of the largest studies internationally on HIV and menopause.  Shema is also a Consultant in HIV and Sexual Health at Mortimer Market Centre, London, where she has developed and leads a specialist HIV and menopause service.  She has led writing of national and European guidelines on management of menopause in women living with HIV.
